Yesterday 'laurart suggested my latest work for a daily deviation. Thebuild kindly listened and then......favourites, comments and new watchers came 'rolling in'.
Thank you so much for your interest and validation.
I have been practicing now for many years and have become somewhat of a recluse in my days...... this exposure means so much to me because the encouraging comments come from other artists. My art expression has been seen, heard....and understood.

It has always been my intention in the past to respond to every favourite but this time I can only respond to your thoughtful comments. Thank you again for your interest and thank you to new watchers....I hope you continue to find interest in my journey.

I was obsessive about creating things all through childhood. I then trained as a teacher. A few years ago I finished that career and started working full time as a sculptor. When I reflect on the past years I recognize that my efforts have taken the form of a daily practice, a meditation in clay. Much has been repetitive. On a good day however, there is always a different energy. When you work 'with' the medium and allow your muse space, special things can happen. Knowing when to stop is my greatest challenge.

I found your gallery because one of your works was a DD, I have to say it's very interesting. I haven't seen many sculpture artists around here. Anyway, I think you have some great stuff.
